Classes at Tillies

Backdoor Quilt Series
Join us four times this year as we celebrate the seasons with four different door banners or wall hangings. Do you have a special niche in your home that is crying out for something special? This skinny quilt is the answer! It would be perfect for a “backdoor” too. I machined appliqued this first little quilt as well as combining some fast outline stitching. “Be Thankful” is the first one we will make in this Backdoor Quilt Series. This class will take place on Tuesday, April 22nd from 6 – 9 pm. Kits will be available for this quilt. Class fee $15 plus kit.

French Braid
Join Jo on Saturday, April 26th as she teaches you how to make a French Braid quilt. It has been found to be one of the easiest and quickest quilts to construct. These are not my words, but the words of Jane Hardy Miller the designer and author of “French Braid Quilts.” We will be using this book in this two day class. Second day will be determined in class; we are looking at Saturday, May 17th as a possibility. We have kits made for this class with a choice of three different border options. Sign up early, ladies are already signing up for this class once they see the fabrics. Class fee $45.

Ok ladies; if binding is giving you problems and you just can’t seem to get those corners figured out this is the class for you. Come learn Tillies tried and true method for perfect corners every time. Even if you have been quilting/binding for years you can always pick up something new in a class. Thursday, May 1st from 6 - 9 pm.
Class fee $15

Patriotic Stripes and Stars
Take a step back in times with Diane as she teaches you how to combine stripes with stars for a quick wall hanging to celebrate” Old Glory” with a small patriotic scrap quilt. This quilt finishes 48” x 57” and can be done in your choice of color, but with red, white and blue it can be ready to wave for the 4th of July. Fun! Quick! This one night class will meet on Wednesday, April 30th from 6 – 9pm. Selection of fabric and pre-cutting before class required. Class fee $15.
